CloudShield Technologies Soars With $15 Million Round

SUNNYVALE, CA  -- Networking company CloudShield Technologies, Inc. has raised a new round of venture capital financing, receiving $15 million in new investment.

CloudShield is a provider of "multi-gigabit, multi-function, programmable, deep packet inspection platforms targeted at large 'network operators'", also known as telecommunications companies.

Investors in the round included new lead investor Tetronix, and existing investors ComVentures, TPG Growth, Foundation Capital and Paladin Capital Group.  The funding was an expansion round.
